Young Man of the Cloth invites you to join the author’s journey through a world which no longer exists. In the ’s and ’s, teenage boys left at an early age to train for the priesthood in seminaries run by Catholic dioceses throughout the country as well as by religious orders.
I hope that reading the account of my years as a “young man of the cloth” may help lead to a greater understanding of some of the formative influences on priests, at least during the fifties and sixties.
